One-to-One Lessons

We offer individually tailored one-to-one sessions for students of all ages for either 30 or 60 minutes.

Instrument Hire and Repairs

Not got an instrument yet or don’t know what to buy? Worry not. Here at Darlington Violin Lessons we can loan you an instrument for a small weekly fee and also offer you advice on suitable instruments when you are ready to purchase your own. Minor repairs can also be carried out on instruments.

Ensemble Lessons

As well as one to one lessons, we also offer additional ensemble lessons, where you can join friends and other students for duet, trio or quartet sessions.

Young Learners (Age 4 to 7)

We also specialise in lessons for younger children. These sessions involve lots of music games and general musicianship as well as learning to play the violin.

Exam Preparation

As well as entering students for examinations and assessments, we also offer additional lessons on supporting elements, such as sight reading and aural training. These lessons are available to all vocalists and instrumentalists.

Musicianship Training

We currently offer general musicianship sessions to help with musical learning, co-ordination skills, knowledge and understanding.

Exam Accompaniment

Our highly competent teacher can also offer their accompaniment skills in preparation for exams and as well as in the exam itself. These lessons are available to all vocalists and instrumentalists.
